What's in your Bag for a Night out on the Town with Your Valentine?
Author Marisa Cleveland Wants Your Advice!

Marisa Cleveland is a debut author with Entangled.  Her new story, out on Valentine's Day takes place in South Beach. But she needs your help to go out on the town.  Plus, an awesome giveaway!

Marisa's new novella is The Valentine Challenge: Out soon from Entangled!

She never could resist a challenge... When Stacey Bradford's hot boss, Marsh, convinces his company's board to close her best friend's flower shop - days before Valentine's Day! - Stacey declares war. Intrigued by Stacey's devotion to her friend, the hearts and flowers holiday, and belief in true love, Marsh issues a challenge - prove love exists or deliver the closing documents to her friend herself. Stacey never could resist a challenge, but when Marsh makes Valentine's Day the deadline for their deal, Stacey must decide how far she's willing to go...for love.

Help! Valentine's Out on the Town! With Marisa Cleveland

It's February 10th and Valentine's Day is four days away!

I'm so thrilled Stephanie & Dana have invited me to be part of their blog hop, because as a writer, I spend most of my time in yoga pants and tee shirts, and I'm not afraid to admit I need help!

My hubby and I love Valentine's Day, and in celebration of the holiday and my debut novella releasing, we've decided to make this Valentine's Day extra special.

As unprepared as I am for this super date, I've decided to make a list.

I love lists.

Here are four items on my list:

1. Don't Panic. Four days is ninety-six hours, and that is plenty of minutes to get everything in order.

2. Immediately wax everything appropriate.

3. Wash all essentials and try on different outfits, including matching shoes, purse, and accessories.

4. Shop! Mints, blotting tissue, lotion, hand sanitizer...

Thanks for reading my list. Please comment with ideas to add to my list! What am I missing for a night out on the town?

Marisa Cleveland loves to laugh, hates to cry, and does both often. As a writer, she writes. Every day. Perhaps because she married her best friend, her adult romance novels focus on playfully naughty relationships developed through friendship and family-oriented values. She loves to connect with writers and readers.

  1. My favorite thing to wear when I go out is a cool or fun hat. Hats make you stand out from the crowd, they show your personality and they are great conversation starters.

    1. Great idea. Or you could wear one of those "fascinators," like the princess wore to Kate and William's wedding.

  6. Marisa,

I'm gonna have to say... go wild. Put something really interesting in your purse, maybe one of those remote control vibrating bullets that go in your panties, and give hubby the controller at dinner.

Or maybe even a dirty message about what you want to do to him later.

    1. Hi Sarah! Ooooh, I'm pretty tame. Wild is sooooo not me. Heheheee. But I like the dirty message idea. :)

    1. He loved the gifts I gave him. :) But they didn't fit in my purse, so we exchanged goodies in the morning.

    1. We don't usually make it a date, since it's sooo crowded in all the restaurants, but this year we decided to go out. It was quite the evening. :)

  13. I defer to all of these very experienced women. The other day, I told my husband not to get me anything for Valentine's Day. He said (as he says every year), "For a romance writer, you are completely devoid of romance!" LOL
